Years ago a handshake and your word were stronger than a contract. But today, many claim to be trustworthy, but too often it's all talk and no action. TRUST ME!? will ask students to consider how they are living their lives. Is their character defined as honest, sincere, and trustworthy? Do others consider them as a person that can be counted on and trusted? They'll be challenged to ponder the answer to questions like: Is it okay to cheat on an exam? When my parents say, "Be home at 10:00," is 10:30 acceptable? Is it right for me to bully or tease others? Should I smoke, consume alcohol, or take drugs in order to appear cool to my friends? TRUST ME!? will encourage your students to realize that actions speak louder than words. The popular phrase, "Do as I say, not as I do" will be rewritten to say, "Trust what I say as you see what I do." Your students will begin to recognize that by being true to their word, being responsible for their own actions, and by treating their peers as equals, true, lifelong friendships can be formed and a genuine trust can be established. TRUST ME!? is a 40-minute multi-media experience from Camfel Productions. It's a high-energy program that will motivate your students to become honest with themselves, responsible for their own actions, and to be straightforward and honest with those around them in a positive, respectful manner, to become a person everyone can trust. |
