WHAT'S CAMFEL?
Camfel Productions is a Christian, non-profit,
multi-media production company based in Irwindale, California.
We specialize in high school assembly programs. These programs
use film footage (movies, sports, interviews, etc.), three giant
screens, DVD, video projectors, narration, and popular/rock music
to convey a message that is fast-paced, youth-oriented, highly
motivational and educational. There is also an evangelistic version
to these programs which is shown in churches, youth camps, Christian
schools, etc. Approximately 2.5 million students see a Camfel
production each year. |

HERE'S THE DEAL
Every year Camfel seeks out young, energetic,
Christian individuals (or married couples) that are desiring
short term missions work. These individuals are hired for the
sole purpose of presenting Camfel's three-screen, multi-media
assembly programs in high schools and churches across the country. |
WHAT'S REQUIRED?
You must be at least 18 years of age with
a good driving record.You will be traveling around the country in
a van for 10 months and calling motel rooms your home, so if
you have big debts, own a home, have small children, or have
any other obligations that require you to stay in a certain area,
this job may not be for you.You must have a heart for (and the ability
to work closely with) America's youth. You will be running the
assemblies in hundreds of schools, churches, and youth camps
(you may even have to attend a youth group meeting or two). If
your tolerance for teen-agers is small, you may want to pass
on this web address to someone else.You must have an extreme love for living on
the road. You and your partner will be required to drive (not
fly mind you) long distances in our cargo vans. That's upwards
of 5,000 miles a month! Now that's a lot of driving. |

DO I NEED EXPERIENCE?
No prior technical experience is necessary.
We will train you! We supply new technicians with all information
and skills needed to set up and run our equipment. In fact, we
will be providing experience you may need later on in life. You
will be presented with different circumstances which will develop
you as a person, better equipping you to solve problems and handle
yourself in various situations. |
WILL I BE PAID?
All meals, lodging and travel expenses are
provided, as well as a small monthly salary of $600.00. We do
ask however that you pay your own way out to us. You may also
have to find your own way back home when your commitment is finished.
This will depend on where your tour ends up. |

WHEN WOULD I START?
Your training will take place in August and
tours normally leave the first week of September. Tours continue
through June with an approximate break of two weeks for Christmas. |
